PROMPTR - Made by Creatives. And AI.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My new short film is out: MUSKAUER 35 — Until You Remember
is a Retro Ghost Story / Psychological Horror
playing in the late 1990s in Berlin. Link in the first commentary. Helen and Eddie move into their first apartment together. But as Helen drifts towards sleep, a strange presence repeatedly torments her. A mysterious woman appears in her drawings, and familiar rooms begin to feel subtly altered.
While those around her question her mental health, her experiences point towards a buried history of violence against a woman whose fate has been forgotten.
Remembering women killed in femicides matters to me. That is why I value the work of @femizide_stoppen, documenting femicides and keeping the memory of these women alive. Remembering them is an important political act.
Inspired by European psychological horror and ghost cinema of the late 1960s and 1970s, Muskauer 35 explores perception, haunting, and the need to remember.
Created entirely using Promptr Studio, the film also became a test of how far AI can convey subtle, believable performances—in a glance, a hesitation, a voice.
And the more convincing the images became, the more closely I listened.
Sound matters. More on that in my next essay.

Alle haben das Treatment gelesen. Alle waren im Mail-Thread. Und trotzdem meint jede Person etwas anderes. 🙈

🏃💨 "Kick-off Alignment for AI Productions"

Al brings people together. In Venice, we talked about why.

That was one of the thoughts I shared at the Venice Production Bridge during Al x Cinema: The 10,000 Parallel Universes.

I see this in the hackathons, meet-ups, screenings and workshops | organize, where people with very different backgrounds come together to experiment, create and exchange ideas.

The more digital the creative process becomes, the more valuable real-life exchange and collaboration become.

We are still early with Al filmmaking, and a lot is still being figured out. In Venice we talked about authorship, education, Al music, access and new forms of storytelling, and I’m glad we could be part of that conversation.

Thanks so much to @tapnow.ai_official and Happy Horse, Alibaba Group for the invitation and for bringing these different perspectives together. It was a pleasure sharing the panel with Barry Dignam, Tianshu Zhu, Shawn Song and Sabrina Qin.

Great to be there with @simonmeyer_director representing @promptrstudios .

And pretty cool to see the conversation picked up by @variety.

Article in the comments.

Congrats to @promptrstudios led by @simonmeyer_director for absolutely crushing it in AI advertising. 👏

Simon was part of the team behind @cirok.ai ’s first place winning entry in Runway’s AI advertising competition, while also taking second place with another project. And just a year ago, Simon took first place in our own AI advertising competition at Curious Refuge.

AI is quickly becoming an essential part of the advertising world, and their work are great examples of what’s possible when strong creative ideas meet these new tools.

Excited to see what they creates next!

AARON Awards - Ad of the Week

Is hybrid becoming the new standard?

For this campaign for Niedersachsen, NBA star and basketball world champion Dennis Schröder was filmed on greenscreen in the US. Everything around him — the streets, landscapes and environments of the place he still calls home — was created with AI by PROMPTR.

It’s a neat example of where hybrid production is heading. The challenge wasn’t simply generating convincing environments. It was making Dennis feel genuinely part of them: matching movement, perspective and lighting across every shot, while maintaining the temporal consistency needed to keep the film coherent.

And then there’s the less visible part of AI filmmaking: research, iteration and selection. Endless possible versions of Niedersachsen had to be narrowed into a world that felt specific, recognisable and true to Schröder’s story — from growing up in Braunschweig to becoming one of Germany’s biggest basketball stars.

A strong case for AI working alongside live action rather than replacing it.
