POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This week, I'm performing one of my own songs!
This is Groundhog Day from my 2023 debut album Decade.

I love this song so much. It was written around 2017, in a place of anger, and so much pain. I feel so proud that I feel nothing towards the people and situation that inspired this particular song... but it's still really fun to sing! I love the lyric. "It's never gonna work, but we have to work to make this work." It kind of reminds me of Pitbull rhyming Kodak with Kodak, haha.

The full video is available on the Uphill YouTube right now (link in bio) ☺️ and you can stream this song on all streaming platforms now!

Happy Wednesday! We are already in week two of June's Verse & Venue! Time flies when you're having fun! (It's also my sons birthday today, so im scheduling this post... around the time this goes up, we will be surrounded by the chaos that is a kids' party, haha)

The response we had to the interview clips has been really lovely! If you haven't seen it already, on Saturday, I posted some bloopers from the beginning of my interview with my husband Stevie on my personal account - @arianne.white_ if you want to see that! (It's a minute of just... well, chaos really, haha.)

Normally, in the second week, I'd post the artists 2 truths and a lie, but I thought these bts photos from our interview were just really lovely. Thank you to our student photographer Ethan for snapping these. They are really lovely ☺️

Comment your best caption ideas for the last photo 😂

It's an interview clip day! If you follow my Instagram account, you will have seen the blooper reel with my husband Stevie already. Stevie offered to interview me instead of me just answering to the camera - I'm really grateful for his support with this project. Even though his full-time job is to interview people, he actually found it uncomfortable interviewing me. So please show him support in the comments and let him know he did a great job!
Also, I'm not wearing my wedding ring because I had a shower and just so happened to forget to put it back on, and Stevie would NOT let me forget it, haha

(We had a few more people on set than normal, so there is some external sounds that are picked up by the microphone, but hopefully, it isn't too distracting 😊)
