Sorry for my social media absence, I've been lurking haha
This year has been crazy so far! I've seen my favourite score played by a live orchestra, attended weddings, went to the world of science before it flooded, moved in with my partner, handled my cat's dental issues, drove an ambulance simulation, did a pedal pub with great people, hung out with friends, and saw some concerts, including one of my favourites: bbno$
Through everything, I am so thankful for the people in my life silently and loudly supporting me through it all ❤️

Im late posting it here, but last month after 6 years I finally made the 3000km trip back for a friends wedding and to visit other friends and family who I hadn't seen since i moved back home in 2020.

While im somewhat of a frequent flyer, this was my first time travelling 100% alone, and also my first time in Saskatoon despite having lived in Saskatchewan for 8 years.

The wedding was fun, and I even got up to reminisce, and tell the story of how I became friends with @eleccentric in my crowd pleaser of an outfit.
Because all the morning buses to Regina were sold out, I was able to attend the next morning gift opening brunch, and see the reaction to my gift I wasn't entirely sure I'd be allowed to bring😂 (not pictured here unfortunately since insta only allows 20 photos).

After my fun in Saskatoon including going to the Saskatoon exhibition and a bar, I had a 2 hour bus ride to Regina where a family friend picked me up and we headed another 2 hours south to my old stomping grounds, where i was able to suprise my best friend of over a decade, and we even went glamping together for a weekend where i got to see other extended family and old familiar faces. Of course i snuck in some visits with some other friends and family as well before I left, and another good friend of mine drove me to the airport and we jammed out to good tunes like old times🤙🏻.

Hopefully it won't be another 6 years before I see you again. At some point ill make a story highlight with the photos and such I couldn't fit here

Ahh yes grade 12 means many good bye posts so here is yet another one. I’ve always loved to sing but didn’t quite have the confidence. This being my last year I thought what the hell let’s join choir right? Yes. Choir has really brought up my confidence in not just getting up to sing a solo but in everyday life. Thank you to @emwilhy for everything and awarding me the most improved in choral 30. :) to the rest of the choir, this year has been a dream. And to wired... I love you guys. Thank you for being an after school laugh, a shoulder to cry on, and a family. Love you always 💙

March was the MONTH OF MUSIC! Another Estevan Music Festival finally came to a close this past Tuesday. It was a fantastic season with much to celebrate! I am so blessed to be able to make and teach music with such supportive family members, colleagues, friends, and students! Very proud of my Natey boy who was selected by the adjudicator to sing at the Highlights Concert! Kudos to my brave hubbie @wcsigroup for making his first family music appearance at the festival while taking on the challenge of parent and tot cello lessons with Nate! Congrats to my select choir Wired for their recommendation onward to Provincial Music Festival. Also heading to provincials for musical theatre will be my mom and I’s graduating student @lstepp21. I have had SO many wonderful moments of celebration in the month of March and April! More posts to come to make sure all of my students, colleagues, & family get mentioned! ECS’s One Act Play “937” @donzolidis KILLED IT at REGIONALS this past weekend in Yorkton! BEST Visual Production Award, AND BEST Technical Production Award AND Spirit of the Festival Award! So proud of our Student Technical Director @tyler_knibbs for his individual award recognition for most outstanding tech performance of the festival. Shout outs as well to @ciara.dayman & @carterporter712 for their awards of merit for best acting within our play, and lastly to Nathan Littlefield who was chosen by myself and @abby_hanna_ & @tayler.olver for being the person without whom the production would not have been the same! These students were phenomenal! It was my first time and theirs at a Saskatchewan Drama Festival competition and I am so proud of the A-game that we all brought! Love you all and SO proud!
