Hunger isn’t just wanting to win. It’s wanting to be better than you were yesterday 💯

Sunday wasn’t my day at @officialbighalf

A mechanical issue with my chair cost me the chance of a PB and pretty quickly, I knew the podium was off the cards. But I finished anyway.

Because I think the real hunger shows up in those moments. When the outcome you wanted has gone, when nobody would blame you for calling it a day, and you choose to keep showing up.

Stepping into new challenges has humbled me. I’m not the best in the room anymore. I’m learning, chasing, getting things wrong and finding that underdog mentality again.

And I love it.

Earlier this year, I would have bitten your hand off to be where I am right now. That perspective matters.

So I’m taking the disappointment from Sunday, turning it into fuel and getting back to work.

Still hungry. Probably hungrier than ever.

I’m coming ❤️‍🔥

Just over a year ago, I changed Nthn Creative to @proper_pablo

What a top old year (and a wee bit more) it’s been.

I rarely share work on my personal Instagram, but today felt like a good, sunny Monday to share some bits I’ve been fortunate enough to help produce, direct, shoot and edit over the past few years.

I’ve been very lucky to work with loads of top people over that time, on some very random projects - from battle royale conkers to branded films with Olympic athletes. The name Proper Pablo hopefully helps captures a little bit of that randomness.

Much love to everyone who has been a part of it. Plenty more to come.

What a lush old life.
