🔭 welcome to episode 149 of Observatory by Sungate on @openlabradio

🪐 Deep digger, musical journalist and divulgation enthusiast via @senderos.posibles_ we are launched into orbit by the sounds of @sendafatal_ with a mix constructed of a chirping dub biome, and chugging undertones of deep weatheralisation.

🚀 On hour two, sungate cofounder @moy_santana delivers a full stretch of machine-funked dusty 4x4 explorations

📡 Live today at 9PM CET, or archived on soundcloud next week

A selection of some of the records that landed today.

As always, new arrivals go up on the website and in the newsletter every Thursday, but they’re usually available in the shop a little earlier if you’d like to swing by and have a dig.

A nicely varied drop this week, just how we like it.

Happy listening!

Second reference from Madrid-based label Proper Balance, this time in charge of UK producer Sub basics

The EP consists of 4 tracks on the 115bpm spectrum that range from the deep and obscure vibes of Gauze to more bright downtempo infused tracks Hemisphere and Axis as well as a slowed down dubstep track such as Bounce. All tracks written and produced by Tom aka Sub basics between years 2017 and 2018.

Madrid-based label proper balance launches first EP under Valencian producer Pepe.

4-tracker focused on the dancefloor with a wide range of sounds. A1 – Fen´d out is a track in the house techno spectrum, A2 – Count is a heater bass-heavy track, B1 – Meow meow focuses on a more percussive approach of bassy sounds and, lastly, B2 – Nag wraps up the EP with a heavy downtempo. All this together to showcase Pépe versatility as a producer and artist.
