My ideal Saturday in Miami Shores would start with coffee and breakfast at Tinta, followed by a drive through the neighborhood with no real rush to get anywhere.

The streets here are a big part of the appeal. You have mature trees, spacious lots, beautiful homes, and a quieter feel than you’ll find in Brickell or Midtown.

I’d spend the afternoon enjoying the neighborhood, then make a stop at Melly’s for frozen yogurt. And if you’re a meat lover, Proper Sausage has quite the reputation. I’m vegetarian, so I’ll have to take everyone else’s word for it.

What I like about Miami Shores is that you get a different side of Miami without feeling disconnected from the city. It’s worth spending a Saturday here if you’re thinking about making a move.

A Proper lunch, right outside the shop! 🥪

Featuring one of our loyal local customers who already has some Proper in his fridge… but apparently that wasn’t enough. 😂 So he stopped by to grab lunch, too.
@gayanpoovendranmd

Would you call that a Proper addiction? We might. 👀

Stick around until the end to see exactly what’s hiding inside our roast beef sandwich. 🤤

There are plenty of places in Miami showing that a little creativity can be a good thing.

Proper Sausages in Miami Shores 🔥🥪

Stopped in to check out their new Bánh Mì — and of course, there was no chance I was leaving without the classic Steak Sandwich too.

New favorite ? vs. old faithful. Tough call. 😎

If you haven’t been to Proper Sausages yet, put it on the Miami food list.
