Update on a car some of you already know I've owned for some time now, and have seen some reels of some progress being made.

This is my mk4 golf r32, a car I never believed I'd actually own one day. It's not saying much relative to the extravagant dream cars many people normally have, but this one was mine, the pinnacle of the mk4 platform I've been working on, and enjoying since my first car.

Prior to my purchase of this car, there was another mk4 r32 I had missed out on, and that particular car I wasn't quick enough to grab it before the vultures did. It was sad to see that in the following weeks, the parts for the vehicle went up for sale, a car I knew I could repair.

This particular one, years later, I purchased without an engine, at a price I couldn't miss out on. At the time this car went up for sale, many were jumping to purchase it before I could, and for many cars in the state this one was in, some were intending on parting it out...

I am extremely thankful to the owner for holding the car for me, knowing I'd put it back on the road...sadly it took me 2 years to get to this one, due to my need to finish other projects before moving on to another.

I spent that time it took me to get to this car collecting all of the missing parts, both for the interior, and for the replacement engine. This particular one being an 04 BAA touareg engine I had originally intended for my mk4 GTI.

Many will look at the car and just see a mostly stock r32, but not many will realize the time it took to get it back to that state of completeness...I still have headliner to recover, that being one of the very last things I have left, but I'm extremely happy with how it sits.

It's really amazing how the car drives in comparison to any of my previous fwd mk4 platform cars, and even mk1 quattro cars...it's a whole different animal.

Of the many cars I own, and have owned, this is one I do not intend on letting go.

Next goal, WITW

Shoutout to @hidefindustries on the very professional photos they took of the car, makes her look even better!
