Meet our answer to the age-old question: what if an Old Fashioned spent the summer in the tropics?

BA BA BANAH by @lilcroton is built on a blend of coconut oil-washed Jameson Irish Whiskey and Mount Gay 'Eclipse' Rum. It layers acid-adjusted guanábana, Mr Black Coffee Liqueur, and just enough banana to make the whole thing feel perfectly tropical—in the best possible way.

Guanábana is a tropical fruit with flavors somewhere between strawberry, pineapple, citrus, and banana. We acid-adjusted it to brighten those fruit notes and give this spirit-forward cocktail an unexpectedly vibrant, juicy character.

Despite packing so much booze, it drinks light, tropical, and dangerously easy. A fresh lime expression and a touch of saline bring everything into focus.

As for the name? Blame Floyd’s love of bananas, Beach Boys covers, and Minions.

April bottles.

Work shot mostly in studio over the last few weeks has pushed for more creative setups and rigs.
