Luxury, revealed in stone.

Calacatta Viola slabs bring depth and drama to the shower at our Canterbury residence. Rich burgundy veining carries through the stone architrave and into the reveal, framing the space with a sculptural sense of weight.

An everyday ritual, elevated through material and detail.

A statement in natural stone.

From the outset, we wanted our silver travertine island to remain the defining feature of the space, so we opted for a natural microcement finish to the splashback adding texture and contrast while bringing something a little different to the overall material palette.

Paired with warm timber joinery and an integrated Pitt Cooking system, the result is a kitchen that is both functional and effortlessly timeless.

A view through the heart of the home, where the restored heritage fabric transitions into a contemporary rear addition. New steel-framed windows and doors introduce a finer, more modern material language, drawing natural light deep through the kitchen and living spaces while opening the interior to the garden beyond.

The contrast between steel, warm timber and expressive natural stone creates a quiet dialogue between old and new — preserving the character of the original terrace while giving it a distinctly contemporary life.

Veined Viola marble moves through the kitchen like a piece of artwork, bringing depth, rhythm and individuality to the space. Set against finely crafted timber joinery, the bold stone is softened by a restrained palette and quiet detailing—allowing the kitchen to feel both expressive and effortlessly composed.

This isn’t just a stone benchtop… it’s a work of art. 🌊

People don’t realise how technical a stone installation really is. Every measurement, every cut and every join has to be absolutely spot on. One mistake and the whole job can be compromised.

The team at Prostone delivered nothing but precision from start to finish. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none, and the finished result speaks for itself.

And let’s talk about this Verde Fusion slab from SaraStone… the movement through the stone looks just like the ocean. It’s bold, unique and has completely elevated this kitchen to another level. We honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Massive thanks to Prostone for the flawless installation and SaraStone for supplying such an incredible piece of natural stone. This is something we’ll admire for years to come. 🤍

We’re one step closer to revealing this dream kitchen, link in bio to subscribe to “Container Builds Australia” see it all come together 🔥🤍
