So far the most eventful Grilife event with @dusolddesigns . Friday first session, first lap, Mike did 1:25 on scrub yoks just trying to feel the track conditions. Stub shaft snapped from not lifting at T1 @thevth_will @ho0k5 and Patty swapped the diff, missed second session. Ready to send in session 3. Car weren’t stopping and also bogs under acceleration. Checked the log, weren’t hitting boost target, found couple cracks on the crossover pipe and antilag rocket. Also found pad failure. Willy the welder made a new section of the piping and welded up the rocket, changed to new pads ready for day 2.

Second day first session, weather was in the 60s so we put the s7m soft Michelin stickers on ready to send. I saw big smoke coming from RR at turn 1. Had a blowout at 137mph, shredded quarter panel up, Willy the rivet patched it up with some sheet metal and duct tape. Went out on session 3, track conditions weren’t there because of drifting all day, only did 26.9. Mike got some 488 gt3 data to compare , also watched Ben Sloss 1:17.9 video all night.

Sunday, decided to chill out on the morning session and focus on podium sprint. Swapped the rotors, got the S8m medium stickers on warmer. Lays down a 24.8, then a 24.4. Everyone feels relieved. Think there’s still couple seconds can be found under braking and getting on throttle early. Then won’t be too far from the ford gt mk4’s Gridlife Laguna record 🏴‍☠️
