As we head into the offseason for Schuylkill League Hoops, we’ve decided to bring you content through player profiles! We will be posting a series of short form interviews to hopefully inspire the future basketball players of the Schuylkill League understand the thought process of some of our most successful players. This will include current players as well as alumni players that are continuing their athletic career.

We’ve decided to open up Chapter One with Pottsvilles Derek Watkins Jr. @d.wat.5

Derek is both a Schuylkill League Champ and a District Champ who has recently committed to Harcum College to continue his athletic and academic careers. Derek has made his mark in Schuylkill County basketball history. Here’s what he had to say.

We hope you all find value in this series.

Who’s next? 👀
