How strange is it to retire from a professional sport?

As Life Insurance Awareness Month comes to a close, @protectivelife asked the trio to reflect on an incredibly important life moment.

Over the years, I've lost loved ones, watched friends and family navigate grief and loss, and wondered why life sometimes unfolds the way it does. I’ve learned that life can change in an instant, and how important it is to cherish those I love.

When I entered this industry, I learned about the value of life insurance through the stories of others and the thoughtful decisions they made for their loved ones. The more I listened, the more I realized it isn't just a policy or product. It's a way to protect a future.

When I think about my future, I consider all the milestones I hope to reach: building wealth, buying a home, starting a family, investing in community, creating art, and leaving it all as a legacy someday.

If you are like me, you may have figured life insurance isn’t for you today. And it’s not, it’s for future you.

I know life insurance can come with questions and hesitation. All I can say is that I've come to truly believe in its value. This #LifeInsuranceAwarenessMonth, if I can help even one person see that value too, then it's a conversation worth having.

You can book time with me through the link in my bio or reach out by phone or email. Let's talk about your "why."

We 💜 when our friends from @protectivelife spend time with us in the workshop!

There’s ALWAYS plenty to do in our recycling justice enterprise, and extra hands make a real difference for our small team. ♻️ Sorting, shredding, prepping, making, packing…our volunteers help us keep Birmingham’s #5 plastic moving out of the waste stream and into something new.

And they get to learn a little about the people, purpose & process behind it all while they’re here.

Have a team that would like to serve + learn alongside us? Send us a message! We’d love to get you into the workshop. 💜

That’s why companies like Protective matter, because the retirement solutions they offer can help you prepare for what comes next. Visit protective.com to learn more.

A huge thank you to Protective and Capstone Real Estate Services for joining us as Gold Sponsors for this year’s Partners & Promises!

Partners & Promises is our biggest night of the year to celebrate our families, share our mission, and raise the critical funds needed to support our preschool programs. An evening like this simply wouldn’t come together without partners like Protective and Capstone stepping up to make it possible.

We are so grateful for your generous support and can’t wait to celebrate with you on September 17th! Grab your event tickets at the link in our bio.
