We want to apologise to Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, MP for Ablekuma West Constituency. After meeting with him, he informed us that he was not aware that the motorbikes and tricycles had been taken back from us. We also want to use this opportunity to inform the public that we have received the motorbikes and tricycles back.

As Deputy Constituency Secretary, you must complement the work of your boss. I am a team player, and have played that role effectively at the electoral area level. I intend to bring that same commitment and teamwork to the constituency level. - Paa Kofi Ewool, Ablekuma Central Deputy Constituency Secretary hopeful

I didn’t see my contenders anywhere close during our struggle to bring the NDC to power. Even during the collation of the election results, they were nowhere to be found. - Paa Kofi Ewool, Ablekuma Central NDC Deputy Constituency Secretary hopeful.

If President John Mahama and the NDC’s 24-hour economy campaign policy had been focused solely on building markets, I don’t think Ghanaians would have voted for him. That’s not what we need. We need a 24-hour economy that creates jobs and provides employment opportunities. That’s what the youth voted for.

Revamping the refinery will help us refine our own crude oil locally and ensure that Ghanaians benefit from the value it creates.

The high price of diesel has forced transport operators who bring our goods to the market to increase their fares. This has pushed up the prices of goods, while sales remain low. As a result, it has become increasingly difficult for traders to make profits and save money.

If not for the work we did as polling agents and the security support we provided to Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, he might not have won the Ablekuma West Constituency seat to become an MP. We worked hard to protect the electoral process and prevent what we alleged to be ballot stuffing by the former MP, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, and the NPP.

All the billboards of our MP, Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, across the Ablekuma West Constituency were mounted by me, yet did not take any money from him or anyone else. That is one of the contributions I made to help the NDC come to power.

Our MP, Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, is making us feel that we should have supported our former MP, Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, instead. Those who supported her appear to have benefited more, while we are left wondering what we have gained from our support for the NDC.

If our MP, Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, had not disrupted our borla business, we would not have gone to him for help. We worked hard for him and the NDC to come to power, yet this is the situation we find ourselves in.
