$Today is Michael Jackson’s birthday. ❤️ And today, I’m finally sharing a little glimpse of the day I truly lived him, the night of 15th July at AntiSocial, surrounded by so many incredible artists and musicians. I’ve lived Michael Jackson since I was a child. His music, his energy, his magic have been a part of me for as long as I can remember. But that night, for a few moments, I felt like I could make people feel even a tiny fraction of what I have always felt for him. Someone told me that night, “It looked like you were possessed by Michael Jackson on that stage.” Maybe I was. Or maybe it was something more than that. Maybe it was everything I’ve carried inside me since childhood finally finding a way out through music, movement and the stage. He lives in me, still. And I hope, through me, a little of him lives in you too. I hope we get to live days like this more often, together. ❤️ To my brother and my entire band, thank you for showing up as a family and giving everything you had to make this happen. This night would not have been the same without you. And to my Mom and Dad, thank you for believing in me, believing that I could do this, and trusting me to carry something so close to my heart.
