आयफेल टॉवरच्या सगळ्यात वरच्या भागात जाऊन पॅरिस पाहिल्यावर एक विलक्षण भावना दाटून येते. थोडी भीती, मजबूत कुतूहल आणि गुस्ताव आयफेल या माणसाबद्दल अतिशय आदर. यावर काम केलेल्या ७२ माणसांची नावं त्यावर कोरली आहेत. रंगाची शेड पेटंट केलेली आहे. फक्त २५ माणसं दर सात वर्षांनी तो हाताने वर चढून तो रंगवतात, ज्याला २ वर्ष लागतात. सध्या त्यांचा संप सुरू आहे. म्हणून फक्त बाहेरचा भाग रंगवलेला आहे. एका बाईने या टॉवर शी लग्न करून घटस्फोट देखील घेतला आहे. आणि ह्या टॉवर ला iron lady सुद्धा म्हणतात. एक ना अनेक किस्से, कहाण्या. त्याकाळी गस्ताव ने ८५ टक्के स्वतःचे पैसे टाकून बनवलेला, तेव्हाच्या पॅरिसमधल्या लोकांना अजिबात न आवडणारा, फक्त २० वर्ष ठेवायची परवानगी दिलेला आयफेल टॉवर आज जगातलं सगळ्यात गजबजलेलं पर्यटनस्थळ आहे आणि त्याच्या उत्पन्नाचा ९९ टक्के भाग सरकारला जातो. गेलात तर वरच्या मजल्यावर नक्की जा. तिथे टॉवर आणि आयफेल दोन्हीच माहात्म्य कळतं. ♥️♥️
