Happy Birthday to my brother Clyde!
I’m gonna take this opportunity to express my love and gratitude to he and my brother Lee. These days it may seem sexy & exotic to be born in Brazil (Germany, in Lee’s case) to an African American father and a Brazilian mother, both of whom were dance professors, but I can assure you, at that time, that wasn’t the case.
As kids, our family moved around & travelled a lot, so growing up we frequently found ourselves in environments where we didn’t exactly fit in. Fortunately, our parents taught us to embrace our uniqueness and individuality, so we never bothered trying. We had each other’s back and believed in ourselves. One for All & All for One!

Happy Father’s Day to my love. Thank you for all that you do for us. We are blessed to have you in our lives.

We went to our wedding site the other day, which was bittersweet. That day was one of the best days of our lives, but it was also the last time Laïs and Nanang were together. Going back brought back many memories. This time, we brought Kailani and Nalu because we wanted to share our special day with them. Our goal is to come here and take photos with Kailani and Nalu anytime we come back to Hawaii. It will be great to look back at the photos and see how they grow between the pictures. Thank you for joining me on this journey to raise these two in this crazy world❣️

In the process, I’ve learned a great deal about the lives that he and my mother lead and how fortunate my brothers and I are to inherit such a rich family legacy.
