The Lear House was built in 1963 for Bill Lear, the man behind Learjet, and remains a classic of the Hollywood Regency style: an aesthetic named after the glamour of Hollywood's Golden Era that extends from the interiors to the grounds. Distinguished by its ten-foot bright yellow front doors, it was among the first homes built in the Indian Canyons neighborhood, positioned to capture the full sweep of the mountain views.
