Some things just deserve a little extra volume!

A huge congratulations to our brother Tom Hamilton as he gets ready to take the stage at the legendary Hollywood Bowl with Aerosmith! What an incredible moment for rock ’n’ roll!

Here’s to Tom, Aerosmith, and the music that keeps bringing us all together! 🤘

So sorry to hear about the passing of Sass Jordan last week. Sass was a Canadian rock and blues singer and television personality. She was named Billboard’s Top Female Rock Artist of the Year in 1992. I got to know Sass when she came to Raleigh, NC. in the 90s and rehearsed with our band Cry Of Love. The thought was we would join forces but for whatever reason it didn’t work out but we did remain friends. I only saw her a few times over the years since then but every time we reconnected she was always so nice and we would reminisce and laugh about her short time in Raleigh. This photo is from the last time I saw her in 2018. We @sherylcrow were playing on the same bill at an outdoor festival in Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada. Peter Stroud @pstroud and I went back to say hello to her and she was just as sweet and funny as always. I remember at one point she referred to herself as “Sassy Pants” Lol!😂. Sending out condolences to her husband (producer/ guitarist) Derek Sharp @thedereksharp, her family, friends and many fans. She will be greatly missed!! RIP Sass

There goes the neighborhood 🤘🏼 2 Massachusetts boys. 5 Close Enemies. 1 loud night at the beach!
Tom Hamilton and Chasen Hampton are bringing the boys to their own backyard… Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury Beach, November 7!
Massachusetts… consider this your invitation. Who’s coming to make some noise?

The legend Tony Brock has confirmed his whereabouts for November 5. The rest of Close Enemies will be tagging along. 🤘🏼😆🤘🏼
The Strand Theatre • Hudson Falls, NY

And truth be told - Tony never grew up he’s still a founder and only drummer of the iconic Baby’s!

@closeenemiesofficial killed it on Friday! They are absolutely one of my favorite bands! It was quite the full circle moment bringing my son to see them. Hoping he’ll learn their songs on guitar sometime. ;)

About last night…
Close Enemies shared the night with Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses and his rockin’ band at the incredibly beautiful Des Plaines Theatre. Good hang, great people, and a crowd that came ready to ROCK.
Swipe through some of the evidence let us know if you were part of the noise!!!
Huge thanks again to Onesti Entertainment and the @desplainestheatre for having us ⚡️🎸⚡️

Kind of glad my plans to be away this weekend were ruined, because it meant I didn’t have to miss a night out with friends seeing Close Enemies! Will post more band pics & videos later; it was a great show as always.

We missed our hometown boy @trace.foster.7 but he definitely had a valid excuse. ⚡️

NO plate?-METAL plate?-WOODEN plate???🚨⬇️
Put on your headphones folks✌🏼
I taped the position to not have different angles or whatever. No tricks, no editing!

Same pedal, same amp, same setting, same position of IPhone, same guitar and same 👢 😉

Can you hear the difference as well? Super exciting!
Shall I post some vids with some vintage Fuzz Face pedals? With- and without baseplate? Difference in sound?? What do you guess?🤘🏼

Check out this edition of Just One Question with my guest Peter Stroud, one of rock’s most respected guitarists. Stroud is best known for his longtime work with Sheryl Crow, serving as her lead guitarist and bandleader, while also collaborating and performing with artists including Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and others. He’s also a founding member of Close Enemies, a new band featuring a who’s who of accomplished rock musicians. In this edition of Just One Question, I asked Peter if there’s still something about the guitar itself that makes him want to keep getting better.
