Arizona State rising sophomore @bowen.mauss delivered one of the most commanding championship match performances in recent Utah State Amateur history, defeating Cameron Crawford 9 and 7 in today’s 36 hole final at Soldier Hollow (Gold) to capture the 128th Utah State Amateur Championship.

The victory makes Mauss the first player to successfully defend the title since fellow @sundevilmgolf standout @psummerhaysgolf7 accomplished the feat in 2018 and 2019, with that second championship also coming at @soldierhollowgolfcourse. A dominant finish closing another chapter in Utah State Amateur history. #utahgolf #ugappr2026
