There’s no wonder why as we get older - the demands of life grow too large to truly take a stand for what’s right. If we don’t have time or the energy because of mortgages, car payments, career advancements, taxes, childcare and healthcare crisis after crisis - the SYSTEM IS WORKING EXACTLY AS IT WAS DESIGNED.

Mental health is public health. Human rights are public health. Ending corporate greed is public health. Ending white colonialism is public health. Ending genocide is public health. IT’S ALL RELATED! So this therapist is speaking out loud right now to say - we need the voices of the youth. The impact this will have down the line is invaluable to changing the global ethos.

May all beings be protected, may all beings be safe. #protests #mentalhealth #therapy #college #divestment #solidarity #collegeprotests

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with President Ann Cudd presented by Student Media.

Watch now on SBS YouTube.

Once a term, we get the opportunity to interview PSU’s president. For the first time in a while, we will be partnering with PSU’s Student Radio (KPSU), Student Film (Sub-basement Studios) and Student Magazine (Pacific Sentinel) to create a joint, live-streamed event where we interview the president about issues that students care about.

There are very few such direct opportunities for Student Media or students in general to be able to directly hold the institution accountable. This will be a critical time to encourage dialogue between what issues we are seeing as being ignored or undervalued by the institution.
