October is Dwarfism Advocacy Month, a time to amplify community voices, challenge stereotypes, address stigma, promote accessibility, and foster greater understanding and inclusion.

Founded by Little People of America, this month is an opportunity to listen to people with lived experience, share positive stories, and recognize the importance of dignity, representation, and equal access for everyone.

💚 October 25 is International Dwarfism Awareness Day!

And here’s a delicious way to show your support right here in Palm Springs!

☕ Palm Springs Charcuterie is donating $1 for every Lavazza coffee purchased!

📍 You’ll find Palm Springs Charcuterie inside Market Market, at the same location as The Palm Springs Bottle Shop (PSBS).

So stop by, grab a delicious coffee, enjoy a charcuterie board, and support a local business that’s helping raise awareness and give back to the community! 👋🏾

Selene Luna I don't have the words to thank you. ❤️

Our conversation was so hard to edit down to three minutes! I could have talked to her for hours.

Don't miss VERONICA at the Yucca Valley Film Festival Friday Nov 6.
Red Carpet starts at 5pm.
Movies start at 6:30pm.
Popcorn is free, attendance is free thanks to the Main Sponsor the Town of Yucca Valley.
📍 Yucca Valley Community Center.

Selene Luna is a groundbreaking performer, creator, and producer redefining power, presence, and representation in Hollywood. She is known for her role as Soledad on FX’s Mayans M.C., as the voice of Tía Rosita in Disney-Pixar’s Coco. She co-wrote, produced, and stars in the award-winning short film Veronica, alongside Katey Sagal, Margaret Cho, and Taryn Manning. Sharp and darkly funny, Veronica challenges Hollywood stereotypes through comedy and authentic disability representation. Her lead performance earned a Best Actress nomination from the Cal Film Festival’s Winter 2025–2026 season. Co written with Palm Springs local John Stapleton.

Follow Selene on IG. She has a busy fall planned and you don't want to miss it! 👋🏾

@pscharcuterie Good food is even better when there’s a great story behind it.

After years working in some of the country’s top restaurants, Adam brought his experience to Palm Springs and created something uniquely his own. His Build-A-Cutie is a fun twist on the traditional charcuterie board, and it’s the perfect excuse to slow down and enjoy great ingredients with friends.

You’ll find @pscharcuterie tucked inside Market Market @shopmarketmarket . If you stop by, let us know what you’d put on your board.
