introducing the praying mantis queen modeled by @psybun__ 🔪

wearing an entirely self-drafted garment, the praying mantis queen rules the forest in a stunning chartreuse organza
gown with matching sleeves. their spiked forelegs in a praying position help them grasp and seize their prey. she has her recent lover’s head served up on a leaf plate. A circumstance called sexual cannibalism that occasionally happens during the mating ritual of mantises, mostly found while in captivity. a true feminist icon. she reigns supreme of these woods and will not let anyone get in her way

presenting my latest collection, 𓍊𓋼 spirits of the forest 𓆲 featured at the feral apparel fashion show organized by @theartsiderslax at @pumphousearts! I had a lovely day showing four looks inspired by harvest festivals and films like my neighbor totoro, spirited away, and dimland. I am ever grateful to have amazing models that helped me bring this collection to life and everyone’s personality shined through. thank you immensely to @meghandle @unicycle_michael @goddessglyphs and @psybun__ for walking the stage as my forest spirits! thank you to my parents for all of the support and encouragement along the way 💓 thank you to @celiarosephoto for coming to the pre-show party to snap some photos that I am so excited to see and share with you all! It was a magical and mystical evening seeing all of the beautiful designs, blazers, and umbrellas that got to grace the stage. Finally getting around to posting about this past weekend up in the U.P. 🥹🥰

This experience was truly like no other. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so loved, welcomed, and completely at home with a group of people. 💗 I met some incredible souls and made friendships I know will last a lifetime.

I definitely wish I would’ve taken more pictures, but honestly, I think that just means I was too busy living in the moment. 🥹 These are the memories I did capture, and I’ll cherish them forever.

What a truly unforgettable weekend. My heart is so full. 🥰💗
