- Anika and I have hardly been home for weekends this summer, especially for trips with family. I feel very privileged

- World Cup has been sick. I regret to inform you that IT’S COMING HOME

- There have been times when having our life so booked out contributed to feeling exhausted in some ways. Since we’ve started leaving a weekday or two open, we feel that a lot less. I think everyone’s rhythm is different, but it’s been another thing I really appreciate about this season

- Joined an ultimate frisbee group for the first time in a while and it’s super fun!

- I often slip into this productivity-first mindset at my job that is hard to switch out of when I clock out. It makes it more difficult to give my full attention to the people and places I’m around, which is not the way I want to be

- I’ve also been thinking about just how much of my life is spent at my job. I might be missing the point if I don’t show up to my job the way I’m trying to show up to the rest of my life

- I had the best Italian food I think ever yesterday. Absolutely wild.
