A day out exploring the crevasses of Zanskar. Day three of our Silencio Expedition - Himalayas, @namgyal_10 our tour operator suggested we take a rest from riding, but what kind of adventure riders would we be if we agreed to that? So in spite of his protests we headed towards Zangla, just a few kilometers north of Padum. We entered into one of the chasms between the earth’s crust, and felt like we were riding on some kind of martian landscape.

I arrived in Ladakh with tears in my eyes, and I left Ladakh with tears in my eyes too. 🥹

On my first day in this unfamiliar land, I was overwhelmed and almost brought to tears by the breathtaking, majestic landscapes.

And on my last day, as I left and headed back home, my eyes were wet again… because I simply couldn’t bear to leave such an incredible place. 🥹

🇮🇳 7 days exploring Ladakh, riding motorcycles along the roads beneath the Himalayas, covering a total distance of around 1,150 km.

Twelve of us came together to conquer UMLING LA, the highest motorable pass in the world. ❤️

Ladakh completely changed the way I see India. It is peaceful, majestic, and unbelievably beautiful in a way that left me speechless. Most of all, it is a land deeply marked by spirituality. 🙏

More than anything, I feel incredibly lucky to have met such amazing travel companions: kind, funny, and totally on the same wavelength. 🤣
Having my crazy little crew by my side made me feel so much more confident about everything. 😗

And finally, a huge thank you to the land tour team and our tour guides for taking such great care of us throughout the entire journey. You were incredibly dedicated, supportive, and, most importantly, so wonderfully accommodating. ❤️

Ladakh, thank you for giving me such a beautiful journey.

Riding in the Himalayas, 3500 meters high above sea level, is a dream for every adventure rider. We get to tick that box off the bucket list; i and a crew of 35 riders from all over the Philippines 🇵🇭 plus the US 🇺🇸 and Mongolia 🇲🇳 came to Ladakh to ride. Started off at Leh, the capital of Ladakh, headed west towards Kashmir region to Kargil, then turned south to Padum to see the mythical Zanskar valley. This collage of clips are from day one and two of our tour, highlights of which were the Suru river valley, and Penzi la or Penzi pass, overlooking the mighty Drang Drung glacier 🏔️
