If you’re still trying to decide on yarn colors, @myak_fibers has put together LOTS of kits of Tibetan Cloud Wool in so many color combinations, all available on their website now. Gearshift & Grace is ready for Preview Knitting and I’d love if you joined me! ✨🎉 A LITTLE ABOUT GEARSHIFT & GRACE… I’ve wanted to create a collection of knits I can wear everywhere - to work, on my motorcycle, and out for a fun evening. Pieces that transition easily to the seasons and to your moods.    Gearshift & Grace is the first in this collection and is a classic shell to be worn alone or under a blazer or biker jacket. It can work with pants, shorts, leathers, or even a skirt. Totally versatile to be dressed up or down.   THE CONSTRUCTION… Knit from the top down, this classic design begins knitting flat and then you join in the round. There is a lovely colorwork pattern worked throughout. And the finishing details at the hem and armholes creates a flirty but edgy finish. THE YARN… Designed for DK & Worsted weight yarn. My sample was designed in collaboration with fellow and fabulous MN dyer Sam of @lavenderluneyarn using one of her DK bases along with her fluffy Flocculent worsted. The combination is so fun! She has paired some fabulous kits and is offering a lovely discount on her yarn if you wish to use her colorways. BUT as always, you may use any yarn you’d like from your stash or another dyer of your choice. THE TIME FRAME… The pattern is ready to go after just a few more tweaks and will be dropped to previewers this weekend. We’re running this Preview Knit in the Factory Girl Discord Group. Start Date: Saturday, Mar 7, 2026 Deadline Date: Saturday May 16, 2026 Release Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026 As my thank you for finishing this Preview, you will receive a final copy of the pattern along with a $20 Gift Card to my online shop to be used on any physical or digital product. Let me know if you have questions…if you’d like to join us…drop me a DM with your email! Can’t wait to knit with you! 💜✨

Give Back December is here 🐾💜 Every year since 2020, I’ve set aside this season as a time to give back and with your help we’ve been able to support some very special organizations. From now through December 31st, a portion of every order placed in the shop will go to Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue @cocosheartdogrescue … the rescue that brought my beloved Sophie into my life. 💜 Sophie is more than my pup…she is my co-pilot, comfort, and companion. Supporting the rescue that saved her, her mom, her siblings and countless others feels like the most heartfelt way to honor her memory and help more dogs find the love they deserve. This season, we’re turning every skein, every pattern, and every favorite tool into something bigger. So… 🧶 New yarn sets + samples are in the shop,,,AND more are dropping next weekend (watch for a new update!!)
🎁 Brand new tools, notions and treats are in the shop!
💜 Every purchase helps Sophie’s rescue dog in need And I know not everyone needs anything or has something they wish to gift, your likes and shares mean so much to us too. A link to the shop is in the bio. 💜 Thank you for being part of this incredible community. You make this tradition possible. Let’s make 2025 the biggest Give Back December yet. 💌 #GiveBackDecember #FactoryGirlDesign #MakersForChange

Fiber festival weekend in New York is always a time I look forward to. Snoring, laughing, eating, working our butts off and then spectating.. what more could you ask for?!? It’s always filled with friends and people who love what we do. It definitely fills the tank. This might be just a job, but I’ve found my flock! I fit in just like wool on a felting block. Stuck and all over the place 🤣 Thank you for all the hugs of old and new friends. Can’t wait to see you again next year!
