GRANT RECIPIENT SPOTLIGHT: Craig McFarlane is the recipient of a Seasonal Brew grant! Craig is the epitome of a community builder. Through their ingenuity and hard work, they created a business- Passing Time With Craig, that inspires joy and connection through events. However, Craig is not satisfied to just run his small business. He uses his platform for good. He incorporate fundraising elements in his events whenever possible and is truly a champion for local charities, small businesses, and local beverage manufacturers in every element of his work. With the funds received from this grant, he's able to to host two events that not only sound fun, but are incredibly impactful. One of them is the upcoming “Pat’s Night” in honour of their late mother which will raise funds for the Children’s Grief Centre (go to @ptwcraig for tickets)! Congratulations Craig, you are truly the embodiment of what the Hop Forward Grant stands for: diversity, community, and impact.
