I always knew this day would come, but somehow I never believed it would. We had to say goodbye to our sweet Frankenstein, my Baby Frank. I am not someone who loves superficially. I can’t even casually like a breakfast burrito. When I love, it’s all or nothing, and Frank was everything to me.

For 12 years, he was by my side comforting me. He held me in my good times, and in my bad times he would quietly put me back together. He was a once in a lifetime dog who possessed the rare trifecta of being incredibly handsome, hilarious, and so impossibly sweet. All he ever wanted was to be next to me. When you guys weren’t looking, he spoke perfect English to me. All it took was a look, and I knew exactly what he needed…up until the very end.

This all happened so fast for us, and I feel like he was ripped from me. Our hearts are unbelievably broken.

Posting this felt macabre and maybe even a little self-serving but I’ve never been one to shy away from over sharing or crying in public. But the truth is that I loved sharing him with you guys. He brought immeasurable joy to my life, and knowing that he made someone smile or made their day a little bit brighter meant so much to me. Our house feels so empty without him, but he promised me he will haunt it.

Until we meet again, I’ll miss you forever, Frankie.

The Last Years

All photos taken by me with either my Sony Lumix or my Canon Zoom Prima between 2021 and 2024.

I once planned to turn this into a print zine only in number for the people featured, all whom have been very inspiring, and of course are very cherished by me. Some photos have already been released in print or online for magazines like Chrome and i-D, some are bts from projects, some are quick shots that have been shot months and long distances apart, but make a lot of sense next to other ones, some are just incredible people, all of them are moments and feelings I don’t want to forget.
Unfortunately I never put it in print.
But I still have the two photo albums I bought to make up my mind about arrangement.

They say time flies when you’re having fun…I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since we said I do.

It’s crazy to look back and see how much has changed, and how much has stayed the same. What started with the two of us somehow led to the most magical little girl on the planet, and I’m so grateful for the little family we’ve built together. And through it all, I don’t look a day over 30, Frank is still with us, and most importantly, I still choose us every day.

OBEY Clothing is bringing the community together for its first ever OBEY Flea Market at OBEY Art Space
Los Angeles. Taking place on May 16th from 11am to 5pm, this inaugural community market centers around pet themed vendors with @muttscouts at the heart of it.

We’re proud to partner with Mutt Scouts to raise awareness and support for their organization through on-site pet adoptions, a donation bin accepting pet supplies and profits from screen printing will be donated directly to them.

Bring your dog! We have special dog friendly activations featuring pet portraits by @lauramichelleart, pet aura photography with @auragami.la, pet psychic @call.me.mr.sol and custom engraved pet tags by @yeahitsjewelry.
