Looking for something a little โ€˜extraโ€™ for your next project? Have some fun with texture! Itโ€™s easier to work with as it hides crumbs and foodie finger prints reducing editing time and adds colour and textured elements youโ€™d struggle to find otherwise. Search wallpaper, tiles or pattern to view the collections! Do tiles make you go ๐Ÿฅฐ or ๐Ÿ˜ฑ If youโ€™ve not tried adding a patterned design into your backdrop collection before then let me convince you! Even the most neutral of colour palettes can find an option within Natty and my archive. While we were spoilt for choice in Faro and Porto, I am always conscious of how youโ€™d shoot with them. Done more intricate designs will favour a bigger product or wider food scene, some conjure seasonal notes, some cultural nods and others are ideal for smaller beauty and accessories. I keep a library of designs too, not for a rainy day but for a specific brief. Where you might want a unique design or a colour tweak to match in perfectly. Distinctively different. Maybe we need to start a Tile Tuesday chat?! Challenge me to convince you if youโ€™ve never tried a tile wonder ๐Ÿ˜ Gorgeous in every way @puddingforbreakfast @twinsinmykitchen ๐Ÿ˜˜ cblbackdrops #lucysbackdrops #photobackground #photobackdrop #photobackdrops #foodstylingandphotography #foodstylingprops #foodsurface #foodsurfaces #backdrops #backdrop #foodphotographyandstyling #foodphotographyprops #foodphotographybackdrops #foodphotographybackgrounds #stylingmat #stylingmats #backdropsbylucy #productphotography #cblbackdrops #photosurface #photosurfaces #stylingboard #stylingboards #stylingsurface #stylingsurfaces #surfaceswithastory

Posting this Saturday the gorgeous rhubarb tart created by Raewyn @puddingforbreakfast โค๏ธ The pattern of the rhubarb is so lovely and the perspective of this gorgeous scene is very captivating. The blue โ€˜terrace woodโ€™ surface is beautifully chosen with the red and yellow of the tart. Thank you Raewyn for tagging us in your photo! Creamy Tomaty Prawn Pasta for Mother Daughter Dinner ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ What you need: Prawns, paprika, garlic powder, italian herbs, garlic, flour, veggie stock, cream, sun dried tomato strips, parmesan, basil, and lemon. Recipe: Take tails off prawns and coat in 2 tsp paprika, 2 tsp garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add butter to a pan and fry the prawns. Take prawns out when cooked. In the same pan add more butter, 8 cloves of garlic (crush) along with 2 tsp of italian herbs. Add about 2 tsp of flour and mix around (this will help thicken sauce). Add 1 1/2 cups veggie stock and 1 1/2 cups cream to pan. Add 2 tsp tomato paste and around 1/2 - 1 cup of sundried tomato strips to sauce. Add 1/2 cup grated parmesan mixed with lemon zest along with chopped basil. Stir everything! Cook pasta while sauce is thickening. We used rigatoni. When pasta is cooked add the prawns back to sauce along with the cooked pasta. Top with grated parmesan and more chopped basil!
