I officially hit TEN years in the game.
So much has changed, but so much remains the same.

It took me three months to work up the courage to record myself. It took me three to five years to learn how to frame a shot. I didn’t get a decent light until about seven years in. I’d like to think there has been some improvement in my yoyo skill level, but I really enjoy seeing how much better the production has become over the years.

Big thanks to @ggmarkd @mk1yoyos for the contstant support and for helping me reach my yoyo goals. You took a chance on me and I’ll be forever in your debt.(Grateful)

And of course I wouldn’t be anywhere without my friends @pugetsoundthrowers It started small, but our little club is really getting some traction. Can’t wait to see where it goes. @kaylinitythrows @jp_gko @chad_yoyo @beforey_l @pleasecallmesal @dang_its_andy @yoyoevanm

Honorable mention to my wife @raspberryjamtoast for reminding me I’m good enough and buying me yo-yos.

There is so much that happened this year that I can’t really recount all the important things that happened, but what I can say is- I was living through this year with a quote in minds that I just so happened to stumble upon: “Whatever you are not changing, you are choosing”. A quote by Laurie Buchanan. How I stumbled upon this quote is unfortunately forgotten but since then I’ve been really internalizing it and really trying to apply that to my everyday life.

In order to be the best that you can be, in order to be able to overcome challenges that you thought you wouldn’t have been able to otherwise, it requires some changes to your routine, even some sacrifices. Again, I’ve been really trying to change the things I’ve been choosing ,so to speak- and it ended up yielding some good results, despite them being small. All of us are getting older, and Time isn’t stopping for anybody- so take this time to do what you’ve been wanting to do while also dedicating time for yourself.

Here’s to a more fruitful 2026!
