Last weekend we had our first anniversary, to celebrate all of YOU for making our dream a reality. HotRDogs is a passion of mine, a place where I can make doggy dreams come true and provide a home away from home for all kinds.

We've met the most amazing people over the last year, and I couldn't be more grateful!

Thanks for the amazing donations @westpawus, @bridgeranimalnutrition and @my.dog.and.pony.show of Tails West Dog Spaw. We also had a basket that I collaborated with @tomesandbonesbookco for - but haven't gotten a pic with the winner yet!

@tomesandbonesbookco and @ruffridersmobiledoggym accompanied us, @wild.flourcookieco made the amazing cookies, and lunch was sourced from our new local @rosauerssupermarkets here in Belgrade!

Can't forget that we also raised $150 for the adorable pugs, who won my very first raffle at my very first booth event last summer. Feels surreal to come full circle!

Here's to another amazing year, and continuing to build more relationships and meet more incredible dogs ❤️

The first Mother’s Day without my Bubba. I sure miss him.

Sometimes I wake up still and reach for his pillow to hold his paw. Instead of holding him this Sunday, I will have him close to my heart in his memorial urn. ❤️🐾

Tomorrow marks 8 years since I said goodbye to my soul dog, Harrison — my Prince Harry. 🤍

I only had 7.5 years with him, but those years were everything. Harrison wasn’t just my dog… he was my protector, my constant companion, my cuddle buddy, and truly my whole world. We did everything together. He showed me a kind of love and connection that I didn’t even know was possible.

Harrison was a rescue from the Crow Agency, born in negative degree weather — and somehow, that tough beginning never dimmed his spirit. He loved the snow, loved his people, and loved so deeply. He had this way of making you feel safe just by being near him.

Losing him at only 7.5 years old to liver disease was heartbreaking. But what brings me peace is knowing how loved he was every single day of his life — and how much love he gave in return.

For years, I talked about starting a rescue in his honor… because Harrison himself was a rescue, and he changed my life. Prince Harry’s Angels was built from that love — from the bond he gave me, and the desire to give that same second chance to other dogs.

This rescue exists because of him.
Because of Harrison.
Because of a once-in-a-lifetime dog who will always be the best boy that ever lived.

I miss you every day, my sweet Prince Harry. Thank you for everything you gave me — I’m still carrying it forward. 🐾✨

EDDIE MONEY FINDS HIS FUREVER IN MONTANA 🩵

This story is so special to me for many reasons.

7 years ago a lovely young lady named Alana @pugmommadness flew to LA to adopt a pug from me.

She sat in my yard for many HOURS (I mean hours 😆) trying to make the right choice. She made the choice I knew she would, all along. A beautiful young pug boy I rescued from Korea. Chuck @sirchuckiethecheeseball went to live in Montana with her & her 2 precious pug girls!

Years later she started her own little pug rescue in MONTANA @princeharrysangels_mt so of course we decided to collaborate.

Beautiful Eddie Money who I rescued from dog dumping hell hole Bakersfield, is the first pug I sent to Alana. Via an amazing volunteer transporter from @swatt_transport! Thank you!!!

Immediately he & his foster brother Sheldon seemed like they had known each other forever. Instant connection. Cuddles. Comfort in each other's company.

So when Alana told me it was a FOSTER FAIL situation for Eddie ... I knew all was right with the world for that moment. 💘🎯💯

I honestly think it was meant to be. I think these two beings needed each other. THANK YOU ALANA. I'm so proud of you and your rescue efforts!! Thank you @thepugking for getting up at 4am to deliver Eddie to the airport! Thank you to Connie & Mike for giving Eddie a loving home .. it means everything to me. 🙏❤️

This kind of trust allows my heart to let more of my pugs go to other rescues. If you are in or near Montana and looking to adopt a pug - let us know! I will send more babies to Alana!

Have a wonderful life little Eddie. We love you forever. 🩵🐾🐾

1/13- Born 2/13 One month! 3/13 two months.

These babies are the best. I can’t believe it’s time for them to fly the coop. They will always be a part of Prince Harry’s Angels Pug Rescue, 501C3 legacy and it has been a great honor watching them grow! I hope we can continue to see their stories unfold in their new loving homes. ❤️🐾
