We have 4 fantastic late fall feasts this long weekend! We’re expected dry, sunny days!

This Friday we’re doing a difficult hike from Soto del Real to Miraflores! We’re going to earn some cracking, close up views of the crazy cathedral spires La Pedriza and the snow covered Cuerda Larga, from the Mirador de la Buitrera and the Hueco de San Blas. We'll walk past small waterfalls and through a therapeutic oak forest with the final fall orange and brown! All this beauty will be accented by golden hour light and the sunset! You’ll be crazy in love with this awesome autumnal hike!

This Saturday Kris will take the group to the swanky village of Navacerrada to do this remarkable route that circles the restorative reservoir and climbs a wooded cerro with amazing views! This hike has a bit of everything in terms of terrain and trail, with lots of waterside action. There're amazing views of snowy La Maliciosa, more high peaks, reflections on the surface of the water, and the last of the fall colours! Come along for this ding dong hike!

This Sunday Kris will take the group up the medium Cerro del Castillo! The views are sobresaliente and they don't require too much work. The place where we usually have lunch is one of the best little secrets in Madrid! The Cerro del Castillo is the last little hill before the main mountains, thus the great views and lack of other people. The hill has ridiculously rich views of so many snow covered mountains!

On Monday we’re going to do our easy Cascadas del Hervidero hike in San Agustin de Guadalix! We're going to hear the falls roaring and see them 'boiling' after this rainy autumn. We'll also see a striking, soaring, stone aquaduct and walk through a calming, peaceful, holm oak forest. We're going to see the last of the fall colours along the Guadalix Canyon and River! Come cap off your long weekend with this handcrafted hike!
