The moment we wrapped - and other absurdities from our island shoot - the movie is getting so close to done. The filming of psychomania felt like a psychomania. It’ll never not be inspiring thinking of all that we were able to capture in between our days at work. This is a good time to say that this film will be purely self distributed and hopefully playing at a theatre near you no matter where you are by any means possible. We are still looking for some help with voice effects, foley, and a few musical sections, but other than that. Psychomania is on the final stretch of being completed before some last cleanups. We want you to feel more than you’ve felt in the theatre in a long time. We will make sure it is worth the wait, and that the passion in these photos is presented to your eye in the nearest future. Movies movies movies! - @lazyh0use @testcardnetwork

it’s a strange thing to near the end of a creative journey spanning over six years. the events that inspired @georgia.thefilm all that time ago are still some of the most formative in my life. i’ve spent so long putting my artistic goals and my in some regard my self in the context of those moments that’s it’s quite strange to feel as if it’s almost over. of course it won’t ever be over but instead merely evolved into something new! it’s taken me a long time to process what it means to have worked with so so many incredibly talented people across multiple disciplines to make a silly idea i had for a film about girls in the woods a year ago come to life. i don’t know if i’ll ever finish processing what that means. thank you to each and every person that helped out in the process of making this film, even if all that was stopping by on set to say hello or letting me rant to you when i got writers block. to my fabulous camera team, g+e team, hmu, producers, sound, art department, pa’s, ad’s, wardrobe, cast, and to my equally insane (as i) writing partner and inverse hair twin, the biggest of all thank yous. none of this could have happened without you and i am and will be forever grateful for your contribution in the making of this film. everyone i couldn’t tag in the post!! @by3sfi @luxxurybackground @soleitak @amanda.h3ss @celiacangiano @sofiaerichter @nicole_chipmunk @cinegavo @eyeofhenz @linabarclay @simplyredpath_official @jadengerardmiller @karpit.patel @kshann0 @dominick.ninal.parungao @quinnlanmanzo @ververeposar @wzupdawk @baguette.beauty @mmichael.emmanuel @mikecass_ @vladmarchnko @gabriella_zaytsev @mackgreyy @new.royalty @devynwinkler @lulu.royce @_adelaide_young_ apologies if i forgot anyone!!! sorry for the rant & thanks again to all!

It’s been a LONG wait, but finally I’m happy to announce that Knotted is available to watch online. (Link in bio)🎬🎞️ The journey of this film changed who I am. Nearing the end of 2023, I hated my life, I had so much I wanted to do but felt I had no direction or avenue to achieve it. Out of frustration, I wrote this film, something I thought could not only be entertaining, but a small beacon of hope for other artists. It was a labor of love that so many others including my thesis partners, @ivy.stokes @hennadossani and @artisanfilms_ believed in and contributed the best of their craft towards. Never in a million years did I think it would result in me making numerous relationships, traveling coast to coast, seeing the premiere on Hollywood Blvd, taking home an award (for writing!), and getting to watch audiences react and connect with this silly Coming-of-Age comedy that just three years ago, I never would’ve thought myself capable of making. I hope everyone enjoys, thank you to all the cast and crew who helped make this possible, and consider the Knot officially tied 🪢 CAST: Lora: Alia Williams @alia_williams Annie: Jenna Puszewski @puhzoo Tina: Rachel Jenack @rajenack Claudia: Katherine Edgar @katherineee.edgar Arthur: Brandon Bonilla @brandonb1210 Thomas: Davin Broadhurst @davinbroadhurst Nathan: Hussain Syed @hussainsyed01 Penelope: Anna Hsu @annaehsu Background: @notyournormalnia @caroline_luttazi @forrest_31 Writer/Director: @aaronmclaughlinn Producer: @hennadossani Editor/Composer: @ivy.stokes Director of Photography: @artisanfilms_ 1st AD: @_zack.ekasala_ 2nd AD: @aandrea.dodgee Script Supervisor: @ncandela19 1st AC: @ninjjuu._ 2nd AC: @savionblanc_ Cam Utilities: @aryansharmaofficial Gaffer: @raedfaisal10 BB Electric: @xkeishlax Key Grip: @justinrgreen12 Grip: @donfourzero & Sarah Ryan Production Designer: @emilycarvalheiro Art PA: @laurynterry Key PA: @madison22144 Gear Transportation: @amaan.habibi Wardrobe: @ekbsmith_321 Makeup: @baileyychafin Sound: @soni_bhambri DIT: @nasiirmayers BTS: @jelli_bfa Colorist/VFX: @jessegwinter

As P$YCH0MAN1A enters the final editing stretch - the film is evolving to its finished form, but there’s still a long way to go till release. I want to use this moment to thank the people that have made it what it’s turning into. This movie is the brain child of all the film makers that made it. ideas Christian had for an edit or how he thought a deity should act. Alex picking up the super 8 and going NUTS. Shelby constantly being super crafty while also performing a main role - Emma helping us CREATIVELY problem solve and find a cool location after losing one last minute. the list goes on and onnn There was so much chaos but also so so much collaboration. This was the most legendary crew and I edit with each of you in my heart everyday, and am so thankful to have met some of my new best friends. I’ve never had so much fun making something. @alex.mbuthia and @emma_husk_ are also two people that I got to meet that helped me grow so much as a film maker and two of the most badass people in ATL film. Cesar keeping his cool while being the passenger in a car hanging off a ditch 😭 Christian booming and suiting up John jack playing like 4 characters Hagen pushing me to always try my best even after things were tough Evan being on pointttt with the focus and making sure we don’t die Noelle clutching up and following us all over the state Nyah helping us get sound even when the background is fucked😭 If you helped on this movie, thank you. THIS IS A LOVE LETTER TO INDEPENDENT FILM - AND A MOVIE DEFINITELY MADE BY A COUPL’A PSYCHOS! - AL
