2026 First “HOME” Trip Recap

High level recap, it was a beautiful trip where many beautiful memories and new friendship formed.

My first BKK trip for 2026 was planned way back in July or August last year. Because we promised a Birthday Party for Miss Sahassaya.

In December’25, I was still chasing for firmed venue, and before I know, it’s over and we already talking about future gathering/fan meet/party.

Thanks to N’May, N.Guz and gang and Inter/Thai fans that our promise came true. From sourcing venue, to making jerseys and giveaways, putting up Birthday decorations and making videos, it’s almost the scale of a professional fan meet.

I actually advanced my flight to attend LMSY special 2026 meet up, plus I really wanted to bring Paparch’s Burnt Cheesecake (best in Singapore and now Bangkok) to people I love. This is my favorite cheesecake and someone also said to me “I love your cheesecake”...so all the more I am determined to bring @paparchsg

Of course, going to BKK means meeting people important to me....now every time | go, I really don’t feel like leaving.

Many friends like to tease me, saying whenever l go BKK, it’s like going home, and SIN is for my business trip. I started believing there’s some truth to this....until I go home again. jer gan na ka

If i were to use one word for this trip….”people”…..i think my social battery outperformed my own expectations…probably because the people i met recharged me rather than draining me…..thank you everyone who made time to meet…be it for a meal, many drinks or just hanging out. A pity i did not get to meet all, till next trip. And i cannot believe i don’t even have time to eat my fav Sukho Thai noodles at Ros’Niyom and chill at more cafes

Instead of being a tourist and visiting cafes and restaurants, i decided to spend time with people close to my heart. Few years back, we made our first trip to recce the wet wipes factory, now we accompanied the boss for her first Tik Tok live selling with the famous Jenny…many first together as Team Huga…own business is never easy, so proud of my sister cum Huga’s Boss for staying on this journey…from concept to actual organic ingredients , paper , scent and packaging selection….may new doors open to her wet wipes business…friends who are keen, these are available in store at 7-11 in Thailand and now live Tik Tok…safe to use, no alcohol, no toxic ingredients as she believes such wet wipes are safe for babies too

A real “touch & go” trip due to the unexceptional “blessings” ….friends joked that i went back Singapore for business trip…guess it’s kinda true as Bangkok always feel like my 2nd home…a pity my time is so limited that i am unable to meet my Thai sisters and brothers…(but food menu don’t seem to tally with my limited time…let’s just say we did marathon relay eating…nice meeting all…especially my moo twins gang…left my heart behind as deposit, will be back to collect it

Many things happened this year…probably a good wake up call…so i kinda reprioritised many things, and as you realise each time you meet some people, you have one less time seeing them…so just have to make extra efforts for people worth doing so….some old and new friends and probably missed capturing some in my photos..but just wanna say, thanks for being part of my memories

Tick tock tick tock…..16D15N coming to an end, from Bangkok to Koh Samui and back to Bangkok.. that’s how fast time flies….

Main purpose of the trip is to welcome N’Nidd to planet earth, celebrate N’Kidd’s 2 Years Old Birthday and meeting my dearest sisters, brothers and friends. Bonus was getting Tamjaimhee’s Horlick & Caramel Cornflakes & tasting them, & of course, a super big bonus when i saw 00K in person (all thanks to P’Dack, N’Amp & N’Pei Pei). The only pity is i did not enjoy a sunny Koh Samui & meeting LMSY (but thanks to P’Pum, i got a special video from SY).

This time round, it feels like leaving “home”…..probably because Thailand has too many people and things that I love…not enough time. Thailand is truly Amazing. I’ll be back soon….
