Red-wattled lapwing or #Tatiri in Punjabi is a regular visitor along with its partner to our house at Ludhiana. It generally let’s its guard down and comes pretty close to us since it comes most late evenings. For the first time today, it came with its chick and was guarding it all the time. This shall go on till the chick becomes a #fledgling with it’s feather fully grown to take a flight. This bird is also called ‘did-he-do-it’ bird because of what humans hear when it raises an alarm bell in tink metallic sound. This video was skilfully captured by mom today. . . . . . . #Redwattledlapwing #red-waltedlapwing #punjabbirds #birdsofpunjab #did-he-do-it #didhedoit
