POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What blessed days I spent in Los Angeles!
I made my debut with the incredible LA Phil and the LA Master Chorale at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, under the baton of the spectacular Gustavo Dudamel in his final concert as the institution’s artistic and music director.
I shared time with wonderful artists like @anthonyleontenor and @emontesolivar, both on and off stage. I reconnected with friends and family, enjoyed the city for the first time, and made spectacular music—all while being recorded and broadcast live. What a way to wrap up this incredible 25-26 season! Thank you, dear @sammysnook to make this season even more special.

A lil taste of cuba at @fellowshipcnx thanks to @yugohattori
Beautiful stories of resistance and underrepresented voices.
Grateful to all the filmmakers, to everyone who came to the screening and especially @vidaljoa & Ríguel Salema.

This was the film line-up:
El extranjero (2009, Ríguel Salema)
Alter Ego (2011, Ríguel Salema)
Abecé (2013, @dianamontero__ )
Los amantes (2018, @alangonzalez______ )
La huida (2018, @animaespiral & Ariadna Liz Pimentel)
I Love Lotus (2018, @patriciaramoscine )

Session 2 of Cuban Contemporary Shorts is about social bodies and resistance. Each film, a reminder that no single narrative holds a country.

So excited to be sharing a sneak preview of my score for @catalina_thefilm 👀🎶🖤💥

Thank you @martinrusselljohnson for having me on board, what an absolute honour — I’m so proud of what we’ve made! This was the first film I was on after moving to LA, would not have been possible without an introduction from @pauljames.mcdonnell from back home 🥹 What a dream project, with so much heart.

Thank you to @qblache for being my star cellist on this, you are incredible. And @briantaylormix for a golden 5.1 mix, can’t wait for you all to hear it!

More about the soundtrack, and some behind the scenes, soon 🫶🏻
