THE POLARIS GUIDE — PART III

Now we leave the obvious behind.

Part III of our Polaris edit moves into stranger territory — where rain falls on concrete, flowers grow from memory, Cold War kitchens become perfume, fruit turns forbidden, and smoke, leather, tea and skin tell stories a note pyramid alone never could.

For this chapter, we selected 18 houses and 18 fragrances worth stopping for at Polaris AW26.

Not necessarily the easiest ones.
Not necessarily the bestsellers.
And definitely not always the safest choices.

These are perfumes with a point of view.

Expect imaginary landscapes, cinematic memories, mythical creatures, champagne florals, animalic oud, forbidden fruit and compositions sitting somewhere between perfume and art.

WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
Rhubarb and tangerine give the opening a bright, almost electric energy, warmed by cinnamon and pink pepper. Plum and rose soften the center before vanilla, tonka and cashmere woods turn everything smoother and more comforting.

THE DETAIL TO KNOW
The Light was named Fragrance of the Year 2025 at the Universal Beauty Awards. NEH also explores fragrance as part of a broader multisensory experience through affirmations and sound.

WHY TRY IT AT POLARIS?
Because it gives “uplifting” perfume more depth: juicy fruit and light up front, then spice, rose and warm woods underneath.
