shay had the best day playing babysitter 🥹bonus points because she got a pup cup !

when i got the text saying “can shaylee come” i IMMEDIATELY ran to pack up her stuff 🏃‍♀️ because this girl loves keeping me company !

after the park, a pup cup, and shopping trip shay did get picked up early (shoutout grandma) while i stayed because i knew she would nap better at home haha !

Spooky paddle season👻🎀

The cutest bandana and bow set, they also glow in the dark! I’m trying to get in all the paddles we can before it gets cold BUT it’s hard to stay away from the fall activities… we’ll get there soon I promise LOL. I’m fighting with myself every day I have off to do fall activities or live out our summer.

I used to be a cat lady, I swear.

This is 38! 🧁🍂🎃⚖️

Started the day running outside in my pajamas to photograph the magical fog that rolled in and for a moment, I thought Mr. Darcy might appear! 🌫️

Then the sun came out, and off I went on a birthday road trip with my mom to Bucks County, PA! Patrick is spending the week golfing in Nova Scotia (lucky him! 😂⛳️), so my Mom was my birthday date this year! A delicious lunch outside in the sunshine at the historic @blackbasshotel, dating back to 1745, followed by an afternoon driving through the countryside, admiring some of the most stunning farms I’ve ever seen, and leaf peeping, of course! 🍁🚜🌾

It’s been quite a year, with lots of ups and downs, but after spending yesterday celebrating Willis’s wonderful life, today felt like the perfect way to welcome 38 🧡

Today I wanted to honor my Willy boy in my own way, by spending the day painting him in my studio. I spent hours looking through all of my favorite photos of him, and once I picked up my paintbrush, I couldn’t stop. It felt like he was right back in the studio with me 🎨🐕🪽(Both Willy paintings are works in progress - can’t wait to add color next!)

Exactly one year ago today, Willis crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 This past year has been so hard without him, and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. My heart is still healing as I learn to navigate life without him physically by my side. So much has happened, yet through it all, I’ve felt his spirit with me every step of the way 🤍

I ended the day with our favorite walk around the farm, just like we used to do together, and the most glorious pink sunset ✨

Willis is everywhere 🐕🪽
