Mortex kitchen fronts: raw, refined, and entirely crafted by hand.

There is a fine line between a kitchen that just looks good and one that feels like a piece of architecture.

At Pure by Sabbia, we like to push those boundaries. That is why we design custom kitchen fronts finished in Mortex—a specialized mineral overlay that gives cabinetry the monolithic look of continuous stone or concrete, but with a surprisingly warm, smooth touch.

Because every single front is hand-troweled by a master artisan, no two kitchens we build are ever identical. You get those subtle, organic shifts in tone that catch the light beautifully throughout the day.
Beyond the aesthetic, the technical side is why we choose it for high-standing projects:
✓ Completely Waterproof: It creates a totally non-porous surface, meaning spills, water, and daily kitchen life leave no trace.
✓ No Cracks, Total Flex: Unlike traditional concrete, Mortex is engineered to be highly flexible, ensuring the fronts stay stable and flawless over time.
✓ Seamless Flow: We can apply it continuously across fronts, worktops, and sides, creating a solid, handleless block that anchors the entire room.
It is minimal, it is durable, and it completely changes the energy of a space.

We’d love to know: When it comes to your kitchen cabinetry, do you lean toward the warmth of natural wood, or does the clean, architectural look of a mineral finish like Mortex fit your style better? Let us know below.

Step inside our world of design.
Images look great on a screen, but high-end materials need to be experienced in person. We invite you to run your hands over our Mortex finishes, test our custom cabinetry, and see the details up close.
