Vitamin A that’s A-O-K = Retinaldehyde NOT Retinol👌🏻Read on to learn why👇🏻

“We leave it up to the skin’s own wisdom to convert Retinaldehyde into Retinoic Acid.” – Ben Johnson, MD | Founder & Formulator, Osmosis Beauty

WHY THE TYPE OF VITAMIN A MATTERS:

Does increased collagen get applied to old or new damage? 💭

When you incite inflammation, by way of controlled wounding of the skin, the long-term consequences result in more rapid aging. The skin is worse off as a result of this type of inflammation. The skin already thins at an average of about 1-2 % per year at the dermal level (the layer of skin just below the epidermis, consisting of blood vessels and connective tissue). Adding inflammation to the natural thinning process is a recipe for further deterioration. It results in more DNA damage, loss of stem cells, the rapid evolution of uneven skin tone and age spots, higher risk of skin cancer, and a host of cellular issues that continue to compromise the health of the skin.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VITAMIN A:

🔸Vitamin A must be converted into Retinoic Acid to be effective to target aging skin concerns
🔸Retinoic Acid binds skin cell receptors and elicits a call to action
🔸Retinaldehyde improves collagen manufacturing in a one-step conversion

FEELING SENSITIVE? Calmly address skin sensitivities and target aging skin.

CALM | Our most gentle Vitamin A Serum designed to rejuvenate deep into the skin with liposomal retinaldehyde that is also known to benefit and calm sensitive skin. 7 liposomal antioxidants and many soothing botanicals combine to restore the lipid barrier and reduce inflammation all while encouraging the skin's innate cell renewal process.

LAST REMINDER:
A controlled wound ultimately creates a set back as aging skin only heals itself at a capacity of 80%, when choosing an A, make sure it’s @osmosis_beauty Retinaldehyde.
