So I hear the little digital cameras from the 2000s are making their way back, and I can see why. Sunny California looks pretty great through one. ☀️

Last month I played in the PURE Insurance Championship pre-qualifier at Black Horse. Such a beautiful course, though I would’ve loved to keep playing and make it all the way to Pebble Beach. A tour of the course will have to suffice this time around.

More from California coming soon!

It has been 3 weeks since The Pure Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach. It was by far the most positively overwhelming experiences of my life. I’m still not sure how to accurately put into words the gratitude I have for not only the opportunity to play at two of the greatest golf courses in the world but for those who helped me get there.

Being paired with professional golfer Mark Wilson taught me more than I could have imagined. His patience, kindness, and understanding for the game will be something I always strive to achieve. He welcomed me to join his practice round with two additional professionals, Charlie Wi, and Chris DiMarco. Between the wisdom of these three golfers, along with their caddies knowledge of the course I feel the take away was beyond anything I could have dreamed of.

The First Tee along with all their generous contributors went all out for us. From 6 rounds of golf (2 at Pebble, 2 at Spyglass, and 2 at the Hay), bowling, and a huge welcome party including a Q&A with Fred Couples, live music, and food venders from all over Monterey, we were well taken care of. I never imagined making the friends I have on this trip. Being in the presence of such incredible golfers who all have a passion for giving back to the sport they love was an experience in itself.

I’d like to personally thank The First Tee of Fresno for believing in me, and encouraging me to apply for this life changing experience. Morgan Berling, I hope you know how appreciative I am for your support and guidance. Without you none of this would have been possible. Finally, a big thank you to my mom for coming with me on this trip. I had the best time with you and I’m so thankful for everything you have done for me. I love you so much! #pureinsurancechampionship #firsttee #girlswhogolf

Where can First Tee take you? How about Pebble Beach! ⛳🌊

Walking the fairways with Tim O’Neal, playing alongside Jay Haas, and making birdie on her first hole at Pebble Beach. What a week for @ashley.biehl.golf!

One of just 80 First Tee participants nationwide selected for the PURE Insurance Championship, Ashley got to experience the opportunities First Tee can provide: a chance to travel, learn from the pros, and put her skills to the test on a national stage.

These photos capture a few of the moments she’ll carry with her long after that final putt. 💚

Thank you to the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust for helping make these experiences possible for our participants!

#Throwback to when our very own Makayla Caine represented First Tee - Naples/Collier at the PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee, where she’s paired with PGA TOUR Champions player Kirk Triplett.

Makayla was interviewed by Golf Channel to share her experience, give her best advice and we couldn’t be more proud to see one of our participants representing our chapter on a national stage.
