Looks like we will be seeing yet another bump in temps at the end of this week. I would happily go back to the smallmouth program if someone is still thinking about bass. Although I have pretty much moved on from them for the season, that doesn’t mean there’s not great opportunities for folks to catch some fall smallies with a fly rod.
Willing to take a client or two to poke around for some Minnesota Musky on the fly this fall if that’s your thing too. All gear provided and plenty of time left to make it happen. Trips are tapering off as expected, but there’s still some great days of fishing left to be had!

Reach out for availiable times and ask your questions.

If you don’t, I will.

For @outdoor_retailer I made a sweet video with some of the raddest people in Minneapolis. Here’s the full length version that OR posted.
For those that don’t know, Outdoor Retailer is the B2B convention for brands you’d find in REI.
So much gratitude to all the hands that lifted this one, see the 19 people tagged🙏🏻

This midsize Rambler from @talmoonnet is starting to be my favorite of the three sizes currently available.
Big enough to bring in the raft for Smallmouth Bass in the Plains of Minnesota but small enough to toss in the canoe for Northwoods Trout in Wisconsin.

After having all 3 sizes I can say that if I had to choose one, the Rambler would be it. Made locally by a fishy family man with design and durability in mind.

If you are a MN or WI local, look for them in @lundsflyshop @rootriverrodco @thornebrosflyfishing

Couple canoes, couple buds. Couple nights, couple laughs. Couple little fish, and a couple good ones.

A new perspective on a river and a new place to come back to. A good 48 hours up north.

This @otsocycles Hoot is a party waiting to happen.🕺🪩💃

Built by our in-house photographer and Otso marketing manager @purple_muddler, dare we say this is one of the most elegant hardtails we’ve ever seen?

Equal parts fancy and functional, it’s sporting a 140mm travel @rockshox Pike (silver, or course), @velocityusa Blunt 35 wheels shod with @vittoriatires Mezcal 2.6” tires, @srammtb GX Eagle, the most choice @doom.bars, @wolf_tooth_comp silver everything, Waveform Pedals, Locked-In Bar Ends, @brooksengland Cambium saddle, and a custom @whim_goods frame bag for coffee gear, snacks, and layers.

You can be sure to catch Andrew riding to and from just about every trout stream from here to Wisconsin. Going slow, having fun, carrying everything. @_ramblejamble_

I slow rolled home along Shingle Creek today. The crazy heat had me reminiscing on cooler times along this creek. Here are some pics from when the @friendsoffriendsofchaos ventured north for some hardwater in @northsidescooterpigs territory. #ridejahfatbike #fatbikeshit #hardwaterseason #keepthenorthcold
