Super proud of Zack! He pushed himself to take AP Music Theory and did a great job! He was so prepared because of his amazing teacher, Mrs. Hester! I’m so glad he had the opportunity to learn from her - her reputation reaches far and wide!

The past four years of allstate have been nothing short of extraordinary. I have been so incredibly blessed to have been able to prepare and make five allstate choirs in the last 4 years, and I owe every ounce of glory to God.
•
This year has been especially difficult because of our circumstances, but has ultimately been my favorite because of how much it has taught me. Yesterday we got ONE day of allstate and it was more intimate and beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. We got no concert on Saturday, missed all of the beautiful honor concerts, and none of our friends, directors, or families got to watch us perform- but I’ve truly never felt more peace than in that moment. We had the most beautiful, quiet concert surrounded by those whose voices earned so much:)

I can’t even claim that I feel like I “lost” my final year because I feel that I’ve gained so much more. God’s plan throughout this whole process has been perfect and a reminder that HE is unchanging, always.

Mrs. Hester said something on the first day of music theory that has stuck with me ever since and proven so true for me in this. She said that music is divine : straight from God. I truly believe that there is nothing on this earth that could possibly bring you closer to the throne of God than to sing His praises which I’m so grateful to have been able to do with all of these wonderful people.

I can’t wait to do this for the rest of my life :))

Haven’t sent anything for a while because I’m still figuring stuff out for life, but for celebration of graduation and all the fun I’ve had with friends, I had this made by my friend Nathrix and it’s just something I wanted to have done to basically put all of these awesome people on one big pedestal. Been a fantastic time. There’s a few people who I couldn’t find on my friends list to tag, but they’re still there and they’re awesome.
