WEEK 2 OF THE IPSWICH ISAAC SHOW!

We're back this Saturday and it's another big one!

I'll be bringing you the usual mix of Afro House, Afrobeats, Amapiano, UK Garage and positive vibes, plus a special live interview with local group Purple Loft ahead of their appearance at Music in the Park on Sunday. We'll be chatting about their journey, their music, and playing their latest track "Cost of It" live on air.

A massive shout out as well to DJ Delboy, who'll be supplying this week's guest mix. If you're from Ipswich, you'll know Delboy! One of the hardest working DJs around, playing all over the town week in, week out. With more residencies than just about anyone else in the area, he's become a familiar face behind the decks across Ipswich and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who tuned in and supported the first show. The feedback has been amazing, and we're only just getting started.

END OF AN ERA.

DJGT entertainment started back in 2012 as a Graphic Design, Website, and Marketing company. Early on, I worked with an independent car dealership and a therapist, while also dipping into music promotion for my good friend, New York rapper, Loulep — who was the first person to push me to rap myself.

When I moved back to the UK in 2014, I began performing live. DJGT then evolved into a label and events promotion company, and like anything, it took time to find its shape.

Since then, we’ve hosted countless international, national, and local artists. In 2020, when COVID lockdown hit, the label side of the business really began to grow.

Eff & Bunker Beats joined and dropped our debut release “Everything Eff.” Not long after, I reintroduced myself as @british_if following a few years experimenting with the Count Drankula persona. Shortly after Jetskii Dave also joined the team. In 2021, I released Chalk Alley and took it on a 6-date independent tour.

After that, @purpleloftuk was formed and became our main focus. The following year, we expanded with an 8-date tour, including multiple festivals and added shows along the way.

That momentum drove me to open Miami Bar, Ipswich.

But now, it’s time to evolve. To grow. And let’s be honest — DJGT entertainment has always been a bit of a mouthful.

It’s been an incredible journey. We’ve created unforgettable moments, put on some amazing events, and built something real.

It hasn’t always been easy — from venue and collaboration disputes, to the realities of running an independent label — but it’s all part of the story.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey; artists, supporters, fans — Thank You.

And a personal, thank you to @everything_eff , @jetskiidave & @donbunks for believing in the vision and embracing the chaos that came with it. - Brit

This isn’t the end.

It’s the beginning of something new.

SHELLINGS lands at Miami Bar for a full-spectrum night of ukg, house, grime, drum & bass, jungle, and low-end pressure. Expect heavyweight selections from MARCUS NASTY, JASON GASKEN, ELI T, VLC, GENWE, RIDZ45, PURPLE LOFT, BASS IMPORTERZ, CYKO & K9, all coming together for a proper system workout.

This one’s gonna be rammed, so come early. Deep rhythms, raw energy, no filler, just proper music for the heads.
Doors open 8PM–2:30AM, so don’t roll through late and miss the damage.

Best of all, all ticket sales will be donated to Ipswich Jamaica Aid, supporting a cause bigger than the dance floor.

Pull up, shell it down, give back. 🔊🇯🇲
