How to start running farther

Intervals are your friend, break up the distance into minutes. 3min of a nice and easy jog and 1min of walking. If the 3min is too easy do 4 or 5min and a 1min walk.

You can build on a weekly basis slowly getting more mileage during the week. You only need to run at least 3 times a week to build the consistency.
