POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Feeling a wave of emotions as we approach the release of ACOSH 🌙✨

The reason this account even exists is because I picked up a book about a girl in the woods. Now, here we are three years later - with a bookshelf filled with stories, opportunities beyond my wildest dreams, a production company, friends from around the world and a spark inside me that just won’t quit.

I am so excited to come back home 🖤

A few weeks ago, on the rainiest day of the year I got on the red-eye train from DC to NY for @thebookishcreatorexperience I had a vision in mind, @her.socialstory prepped us all so well, but I could NEVER anticipate this whole curated experience! From The Glam to the Support, everything was absolutely amazing 🤩 🤩

So with my nerves, my single carry on, and my little book bag, we made this happen. These pics are so me it's crazy.

These are my friendly neighborhood Bookish Misfit, but stay tuned for look 2 which was wild & creative & so fun!

It truly takes a village. TYSM to the whole BCE Team for braving the weather and making such a warm & inviting space for all the creators!

The Bookish Creator Experience 📖💕

BCE is a curated creative experience for the bookish community, bringing together creators, photographers, glam artists, authors, brands, and other creatives to build intentional content around each creator’s personality, interests, and goals.

Each creator works with us to develop two completely different concepts, brought to life through creative direction, professional photography, hair and makeup, and collaborative production.

The goal is to create content that keeps working long after shoot day, while building a space where people feel seen, valued, supported, and encouraged to create.

The galleries aren’t even finished yet.

The creators literally just got their proofs today 😂

But I’ve been thinking about something since Sunday.

When everyone started talking about BCE afterward, they weren’t talking about the final photos. They haven’t even seen them yet.

They were talking about the room.

About feeling seen. About being surrounded by other creative people. About getting to make something that felt completely theirs.

And THAT’S one of my favorite parts of BCE.

Obviously we’re going to make some insane pictures.

But first, we build the room where they get made. 🖤

how i prep for a photoshoot these days 💅🌞🪩🌼🫧

i have SOOOO many big things to share with all of you in the coming days!!! never did i ever think my life would be THISSSS??? i’m so grateful for all of you, the way you show up, and show out.

i’m also super proud of me, for persevering and the hard work. nothing has been easy. growing up, being told by my parents that i’d never make it, consistently having “friends” disappear and disappoint, and even still. i won’t say i never let it get to me, but i WILL say i NEVERRRRR let it stop me. be your biggest fan ( peep @tabithamaexo for tips on being THAT diva ) AND POST THE PICTURE!!!! you absolutely have no idea where it’ll lead or the opportunities that could come from it.

💿 ps, keep your eyes peeled for all the good news coming sooooooon 🦋🌞🪩✨
