Experimental typography practitioner and odd works member @pushkarev, together with @kirieshka.nika and @7940744, has launched @noddef.type — an archive and development platform for unfinished typefaces.

The project collects experimental font sketches, student works, and personal type studies, giving them a place to be seen, tested, and potentially developed further.

Most fonts are available for free download for personal use and research. Some may later grow into fully functional type tools in collaboration with their authors and designers.

odd works turns 1 today 🎈

To celebrate, we decided to make a few gifts for you. We prepared 13 odd items and are ready to send them anywhere in the world. To take part, simply leave any comment under this post: a wish, a thought, a word.

Next week we will randomly choose 13 people and send the items their way.

And the best gift for us would be if you shared one of our posts or works in your stories.

Thank you for following and supporting us 🖤

More odd beauty ahead, it’s just begun!

odd works is growing.

We’re excited to welcome our long-time collaborator and friend Alina Golubeva ( @alinago ) as our third partner and Executive Producer.

Based in London, Alina brings over a decade of cross-disciplinary experience in creative production. Her background spans cultural and commercial work — from producing large-scale sound and art projects for global brands to developing performances and events across music and contemporary art.

Together, we’re expanding what a design studio can be.
