𝑅𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌: VERONICA??? I guess it’s my fault because I assumed it was a standalone and as I’m approaching the end I’m just thinking “this is a little TOO messy” IM SCREAMING!! God I love this world and these people so much! I cant wait for the sequel.

Where this book started and where this book ended were so different that I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me. That’s what makes Vs books SO good. They’re wildly unpredictable but still make for fantastic stories.

Ze of course is a favorite, he was SO unknowingly silly and truly had me laughing. Obsessed with kindness and the points and, naturally, Luce. It made for great dialogue even though the situation was tense.

@pushnpages once again dealt with my confusion, screaming, and theorizing as I really did try to figure out this story but I’m so glad I didn’t! 10/10 as always

𝓢𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓫𝔂 𝓥𝓮𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓲𝓬𝓪 𝓛𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓽

𝑅𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌: Realistically I need 5-7 business days to recover from a VL book but here we are. As always, V is the queen of a paranormal historical romance. This one was probably the creepiest I’ve read, and I’m not usually a horror girl but my eyes were glued to the pages the entire time.

I inhaled Petra and Sins story, and truthfully, almost 800 pages was not enough! I need more!! I’m just so glad there’s some character overlap between this and House of Cyros. The difference between past and current Sin gave me whiplash but I loved how his differences kept me on my toes. At some points I even second guessed if he was the same person! (Also this song felt so 1890s Sin so I had to add it of course)

I can’t wait for this story to release so everyone can scream, cry, and hide with me as they read this one. Thank you @pushnpages for listening to all my theories and telling how scared you were with me lol.

Review: nothing I read by @authorveronicalancet is ever below 5 stars on Goodreads. Every single story is captivating start to finish and has me itching to read the next book. I loved Marlowe and Minnie, their banter and disagreement over cleanliness was hilarious. There were countless times I would be audibly gasping and laughing out loud throughout this story, due to said banter and, of course, the plot twists. Im so honored to be a part of this ARC team where I had the opportunity to talk about this book as I read it. Thank you @pushnpages for guiding me through the mayhem😉😂

Tagged by the wonderful @williams_readalong and have been patiently waiting to return to my books so I could make this post!! I have WAY more white books than I thought but I think they get drowned out by all the other colors. This was so fun to make! I haven’t read all of these but I do HIGHLY recommend Queen of Quarantine and Spark of the Everflame!
