Well, racing is over for 2026 and it was an incredible year. Managed to iron out all the kinks in the e36, test it a couple times and campaign it in the drift Colorado pro-am. I ultimately sold the car mid season, and borrowed Cody’s 2jz 350z for round 3 and ended up missing the final round at CNS and still landed in 2nd place for the season. Also managed a partial refresh on the old drift truck and had a blast with it at suika circuit, no coast drift party. As much as I enjoyed all the seat time this year, what I loved more was all the memories made with the kids, hanging out with all my friends trackside (thank you all for helping me so much this year), meeting new people, and honestly kind of reigniting my love for this sport. And I was so fortunate to have @tahara724 by my side pushing me to keep going at every event. And even though it was hard to say goodbye to the e36, I’m so excited for the new comp car build. This e46 should be every bit as awesome as the old car plus a bunch of things learned from that build. Thank you again everyone who supported me this year, took photos or videos, offered to help at each round, spotted for me, turned wrenches in the shop, lent me parts etc…. Couldn’t do any of this without the incredible people around me. ❤️

FSC4 FILM SET 1 One of the coolest parts about Friendship Cup 4 was the amount of Film that was shot at this event. Its not often you show up at an event where almost half of the photographers are actively shooting on film throughout the weekend. I managed to shoot 3 rolls of film through the Bronica, 2 of which were Kodak Portra 160 featured in this post. I also shot a roll of portra 800 during the twin drift comp, but that will get its own post later on. For now enjoy this selection of some of my favorites from those first 2 rolls. PHOTOGRAPHERS: if you shot film at FSC4, post how many rolls you shot in the comments below. We gotta get a count. I'll start with 3 rolls! #drift #film #mediumformat #scrapeyardruinedmylife #friendshipcup
