Summer Fundraiser Concert 2026 🌷💐🌹

We had a fabulous evening on Wednesday as we came together to celebrate the end of an amazing 2025/26 season!

Members of the Belfast Philharmonic Choir took to the stage to showcase their many talents, with uplifting music, beautiful harmonies and a joyful atmosphere!
A huge thank you to all of our staff and members who made the evening so spectacular!

What makes Belfast Philharmonic Choir so special is the feeling of being part of something bigger than music alone. Being part of the Phil is not only about sharing a love of choral music, but also about belonging to a caring and welcoming community 💕🎶

If you’re interested in joining the Phil, make sure to keep an eye out for our audition announcements in September! 🗓️✏️

Have a lovely summer - keep singing!

!!DOG ATTACK IN BOTANIC GARDENS!!
I was walking my small Shih Tzu dog in Botanic Gardens along the path between the rose gardens when a large dog, (I'm not sure but it had the resemblance of a Bernese dog) came from the side and straight into an attacked on my dog.

I was screaming as I didn't know what to do. The man came over and got the dog off. Me and my dog were in shock. We checked my dog over quickly and initially we couldn't see anything but he has very long thick fur so it was difficult to see.

After the man and his dog, (he told me it was his son's dog) left I noticed my dog had a puncture wound.

When I arrived home my dog was very lethargic so I took him to the Vet. After examination the Vet found more cuts to his back and decided he needed an injection for pain relief and a course of antibiotics. He is concerned the small intestine hasn't been puncture so close observation has been advised.
As I was in shock and traumatised by the whole experience I never thought to get the man's details. It is important that he and his son know how vicious an attack their dog inflicted.
This dog should not have been off the lead at anytime.
