“Photography is the art of chasing light... sometimes it just takes you to unexpected places.”

After talking about it for ages, my new bro @pvtr.media and I finally got together for the first official M2DARDI photoshoot ever!

Life gets busy and it’s hard to line up two schedules, but when we finally did, it was worth every minute.

We kicked things off at Monument Hill in Fremantle. While the light was perfect we decided to risk it for the biscuit and head off on a little adventure to look for shipping containers. Cue the two of us driving around Fremantle like kids on a treasure hunt, trying to find a yard that was open.

When we finally found one... we were stoked. A puddle. A crater. Shipping containers. Photographers know that’s basically winning the lottery but if you don't know... Well you dont know.

Photography was actually my first passion. Cars came later. So getting to combine the two, bounce ideas around, watch someone else’s creative process and collaborate on shots was great fun for me.

And yes... eventually I convinced him to climb up on the containers for the shot!

I’m genuinely blown away with the photos I came home with, and I honestly can’t wait to see what @pvtr.media has been cooking. For now they’re under wraps while he works his magic...

Something tells me they’re going to be worth the wait.

Part 2 coming soon.
